What is it actually costing you?

  • 2 calculators, free
  • No email, no account
  • Runs in your browser
  • Fixing what they show: from $1,000 a month

Two free calculators that put a dollar figure on the leaks a US med spa or dental practice never sees on a P&L. Nine assumptions between them: one published industry benchmark, one figure set below what a benchmark implies, seven of our own. All nine are fields you overwrite.

The calculators are free and stay free. If you want us to fix what they show, work starts at $1,000 a month — the AI front desk most clinics begin with is $1,500 to set up, then $1,200 a month. No long lock-in — 30 days notice, any time.

Thirty seconds each. Every answer has a dollar sign in it.

Missed-call revenue calculator

What are the calls you miss actually worth?

The phone rings while your only provider is mid-treatment, or at 7pm on a Saturday. This puts a dollar figure on the ones that rang out — per month, per year, and against what answering them costs.

You get
Bookings and revenue lost per month and per year, plus the share of those calls an AI front desk has to catch before it pays for itself.
Takes
30 seconds, five fields

Opens with — change any of it

  • 60 Calls a week Ours One location taking ordinary volume. Your phone system has the real figure.
  • 62% Share of those calls missed Ours, under a benchmark The audit cited here found 37.8% of calls reach a live person, which puts the miss rate at 62.2%. We open at 62% — ours, and deliberately kinder to you than the audit. Independent audit of 85 US local businesses across 58 industries.
  • 30% Of answered calls, the share that book Ours Your booking system has the real figure. We open low rather than flatter the total.
  • $600 Average first appointment Ours What one new patient bills on a first visit. Take yours from last quarter.
  • 2.4× Lifetime value, as a multiple of that first visit Ours Nobody publishes lifetime value as a multiple, so this one is ours. On the $600 first visit above it comes to $1,440, and it never touches the headline number.

No-show loss calculator

What does an empty chair cost by the end of the year?

A no-show is a slot you already paid staff to sit through. This totals the year, then makes you say how much of it is genuinely winnable — because that smaller number is the only one worth acting on.

You get
Revenue lost to no-shows per month and per year, and what your own recovery share puts back — the figure to judge any fix against.
Takes
30 seconds, four fields

Opens with — change any of it

  • 40 Appointments booked a week Ours About a full week for one owner-run location, every provider counted.
  • 15% Share of them that no-show Benchmark The middle of the published range, used as it stands. Clinics taking deposits sit under it. Industry range commonly reported at 10–20%.
  • $600 Average ticket on a booked visit Ours Matched to the missed-call calculator, so running both does not quietly switch assumptions on you.
  • 40% Share of a missed slot you could realistically win back Ours Nobody publishes this honestly and nobody recovers all of it, so the calculator makes you set it.

How they work

Free means free

Free, and it stays free

No email, no account, no gate halfway through the result. You get the number and you can close the tab — that is the whole deal.

Every assumption is labelled

Each calculator opens on figures that already work, so you get an answer before you look anything up. One of the nine is a published benchmark used as it stands. One is ours, set below what a published benchmark implies, with that benchmark printed beside it. The other seven are ours outright, and no published figure is claimed for them. All nine are fields you overwrite.

Nothing is sent anywhere

The maths runs in your browser. What you type is never submitted to us unless you fill in the audit form yourself, further down.

Published, or ours

Only one number here is set by a benchmark

Of the nine figures the calculators open on, one is a published benchmark used as it stands. One is ours, set below what a published figure implies so the answer errs low — the benchmark is printed beside it as the thing it sits under, not as its source. The remaining seven have no published figure behind them at all: call volume, booking rate, average ticket, the lifetime-value multiple, appointments a week, and how much of a missed slot you could win back.

  • One published benchmark, used as it stands
  • One of ours, set under a benchmark we show you
  • Seven of ours, with no published figure claimed

We have no US clients yet, so nothing here is a result we produced. These are published industry benchmarks, not Oris results. Your own numbers come out of the free audit.

  1. 37.8% of calls to US local businesses reach a live person Sets up the missed-call question rather than any field in it. Read the other way round it puts the miss rate at 62.2%; the calculator opens at 62%, which is ours and well under it. Independent audit of 85 US local businesses across 58 industries.
  2. 62% of callers who do not get through call a competitor instead The reason a missed call is counted as lost revenue rather than a delayed booking. Not a field in either tool. Published call-tracking benchmarks.
  3. $5K lifetime value of one retained med spa patient, at the top of the range Published as a dollar range, never as a multiple — which is why the multiple in the calculator is ours and not this. At the $600 first visit the tool opens with, 2.4× comes to $1,440: lower than even the low end named in the line below, which is the direction we round in every tool here. Industry range commonly reported at $2,000–5,000. We use the low end in every calculation.
  4. 15% of booked appointments are missed at a typical clinic The one opening figure a published benchmark sets outright: the no-show calculator starts here, in the middle of the range. Industry range commonly reported at 10–20%.

Straight answers

Are the calculators really free, with no email?

Yes. Both open straight to the inputs, show the result as you type, and never ask for an email address. There is a form at the bottom of each page if you want the free clinic audit, and ignoring it costs you nothing.

Will these numbers mean anything for a clinic my size?

They scale with whatever you enter, so a single-room practice and a five-location group both get a straight answer. The opening values describe a small owner-run clinic — one location, ordinary call volume — because that is who these were built for.

Where do the pre-filled numbers come from?

One of the nine is a published industry benchmark used as it stands, with its source beside it. One is our own figure set deliberately below what a published benchmark implies — you get shown the benchmark and the gap rather than our number dressed up as research. The remaining seven are starting points for a single-location owner-run clinic with no published figure behind them at all, and each calculator says so next to the field. Overwrite all nine with your own and the answer gets better.

What happens to patient data?

None goes near these tools. You enter averages about your own business — call volume, ticket size, no-show rate — and the calculation happens in your browser. The systems we build afterwards are a separate matter: HIPAA-aware, vendors under a business associate agreement, defined retention, documented so your compliance officer can review it. We are not lawyers and we say so where a state adds its own rules.

What does it cost if I want the problem fixed, not just measured?

Work starts at $1,000 a month. The AI front desk most clinics begin with is $1,500 to set up, then $1,200 a month, live in about two weeks. No long lock-in — 30 days notice, any time.

You are based in Europe. Why would a US clinic hire you?

Oris is the clinic practice of HeadPills, building websites and automation from Wroclaw, Poland since 2021. We have no US clients yet and no case studies to wave at you, which is why the audit is free and yours to keep — judge the work before any money or trust is involved. Calls are answered by a system that keeps no office hours, and the people behind it work yours for reporting.

Free clinic audit

The calculators estimate. The audit measures.

We call your line the way a patient would, check what AI search says about your clinic, compare your Google profile to three local competitors, and send you what we found.

  • Findings in two business days
  • No call required to receive them
  • Yours to keep either way

No spam, no list. One reply, from a human, within two business days.
